Greetings Peter

I know that we have the ability to test up to a date in BullCharts.

Would it also be possible to to add the ability to test from a date..??

I have just purchased TradeSim and I would like the ability to test from say June 2003 to July  2004

Regards

After re-reading the BullCharts TradeSim Help file I think I may have found the solution under the General tab of the Trade System editor.

Here you have the option to Ignore trades before a certain date and trades after a certain date.

If all else fails read the instructions....!!!!!!

Also, remember to check to make sure you're loading enough data in the "advanced" tab of the "tradesim scan properties" window.

Basically BullCharts will use the "scan as at" and "number of bars" properties in the tradesim scan properties window to work out what data gets passed into tradesim. Then the properties in the "general" tab (the ones you found) can be used to further restrict that range.
