I am looking at buying a new Notebook computer, probably 15.4" widescreen. Any tips on best Resolution sizes for Bullcharts Software would be appreciated as this may assist in my decisions. Would the 15.4" be a good choice for a notebook monitor size ?

cheers E

If you can afford it go for a specially built laptop that supports 3 monitors. Even if you think you don't need it, one day, you will

Dont know about 3 monitors, but as for a good deal i use a 17 inch LCD screen,ACER ASPIRE 1710 Laptop.

Came with 512 meg Ram,DVD burner(+-) 80 gig hard drive and not to mention once again the 17 LCD screen(great Picture).

Cost 2,500 but did need to buy a vid card which hurt a bit at 450.00.

Anyway tidy machine, works well, extral large screen, great pic ,plenty of memory.I also run a second monitor from it with no worries.

If Acer dont appeal, and you have the Bucks to burn,i believe you cant go past a Toshiba.Mobile pentium4,fast slim and very efficient.

Big screens really are essential.

Hence....Anyone want to buy a 15 inch, under warranty LCD monitor?..

We use laptops with 15.4" widescreens for demoing BullCharts. You can view a decent amount of trading history, even while having the Security Manager or Scan Manager open.

Tip: If you're using a widescreen then you might want to adjust the default number of bars in the Preferences/Time area.

There is a company that makes laptops/pc's specially customised for traders. They had laptops with three screens. But, I can't find the name of the website. Its something like xtrade or xtream or something like that, I'm pretty sure it starts with x.

Been looking for it, but can't find it as yet, sorry. Will post when I do find it.
