Topic: Scan with column showing Sector Posted: 02 Mar 2005 at 7:52pm |
I am Scanning for certain criteria and on the output results would also like to have a column that 'shows' which sector or sub-sector the particular stock belongs to, so then I can export this to a spreadsheet. The long way around is to scan each 'sector' or 'sub-sector' individually, export, and cut and paste etc, but that takes too much time when it seems I should be able to add some BullScript to the Scan to show this attribute in an output column. Can this be done ??

replying to my own message: I have found since my last note, that in the 'Security Summary' section I can show the ASX 50 for example, which does catagorise there industry, and this basically offers me a way to the above question, but would still prefer to be able to perform the scan above if possible as I would be scannong for more attributes in one scan. cheers |

It's not currently possible in BullScan, but it's a good idea. I'll add it to our wishlist.

Pls do Pete. Could then do our morning scans, then score based on industry group. Preferring resources to financials etc.
