I had a similar problem when plotting several different RSI period indicators within the one window. I assumed that as they all have the same "Y" scale, that the default location setting "Display new scale on left" would automatically align each plotted indicator. However, this does not appear to be the case as you note in your query. I then tried the "Merge with scale on left" location option which resolved the problem. I have quickly tried this approach with the Directional Movement Indicators as you describe....in my case the three with a period of 7....and they appear to work OK. Regards |

Can anyone provide any assistance. I'm revisisiting the Bullcharts program but am hitting a problem in regards to the Directional Movement System. Firstly, the only way I can implement an ADX, DI+ & DI- plot and amend the period from the default value of 14, is by separately choosing each indicator and then combining within the one window. Why cannot you choose the Directional Movement All Columns for example and change the period setting? And my main concern is the visual representation of the chart. The actual values of each indicator (ADX, DI+ & DI-) as shown when you hold the mouse over the indicator do not correspond with the position of the line visually within the pane on the right axis. EG. Holding my mouse over the DI- line gives a reading for that bar as 9, but on the right axis it is level with 15. Can anyone tell me how to correct this? The ADX, DI+ & DI- should all work on the same axis. Cheers. |
