Yep, that's a bug. Download this patch to fix the problem.

OK, that's a bit weird.
BullScript would only show the marker on the latest date, because only the latest security details are held in the BullStore database. But the fact that it's showing 20/8/04 for CBA means that it hasn't updated your local properly. You can force it to reload everything by going to download data and ticking the "clear and rebuild tables" option. (Though this may happen again until I locate the problem). Note: When it comes to fundamentals, if the BullScript/BullScan/Indicators ever disagree with the dividend report or security summary then trust the latter - because those reports come directly from our servers instead of the BullStore database. I will investigate.. |

One stock I own went ex-dividend on 14/2/2005 - yesterday. I know because this is what the Dividends screen in BC is telling me. I put on a ExDividend indicator as suggested [target=Price; name=ExDate] [linestyle=marker; marker=type1] security .ExDate<=now and not hist(security.ExDate<=now,1);This indicator does not show up the Ex-Dividend date of 14/2/2005. The indicator shows up a dividend in CBA on 16/8/2004, which is correct by the Dividend screen. But not correct by my actual dividend statement. The actual date was 20/8/2004. This is the "Books close" date on the dividend screen. CBA does not come up if I do a Dividend Report by ExDate either. It is all very confusing - but if we aer to expect the ex-dividend date to show for one occasion - sure it should show up for 14/2/2005? Edited by kneighbour |
