Be aware of a potential trap with use of Intelli Charts.
If you use a workspace with multiple tabs (for example a Daily tab, and a weekly tab), and have the 'Update all windows when symbol is changed' selected on, Intelli Charts may not work as expected. Its basically an issue where info you may have drawn on a particular chart gets over-written by the chart of the same security in the other tab, that doesnt have your original 'drawing' on it. |

Indeed.
What happens in 3.0.1, is if you have two windows open with linked-symbol on, then when you change the symbol, the first (currently selected) chart saves IntelliChart details, then the second chart saves over the top effectively removing your tools again. This will be corrected in 3.0.2 so that the currently selected chart prevails. However, because IntelliCharts works on a per-security basis, not a per-chart basis, things will always be a bit confusing if you have multiple charts looking at the same security. |
