I just read in the download section that BC 3.0.2 is "Not recommended
for users with MetaStock data" (Note 3). Why is that? I've actually
been using Metastock format data on BC and I haven't noticed any
problems.

If you have daily MetaStock data and try do a weekly scan, you get a whole lot of 'symbol not found' errors instead of the results you're after. This causes problems for devotees of Alan Hull (for example), whose scans and indicators need to be applied to weekly data.

Tim is this a bug or a purposely added feature?

Brendon, will Vesion 3.1.1 continue to use Microsoft .Net 1.03? I seem to recall some plans to move to 1.1.

We currently use 1.0. The next release of BC will still use 1.0 and then after that we plan to move to 2.0. We have many changes in the next version and don't want to have the extra issue of DotNet 2.0 to download and install. A separate project.
