If you have developed an indicator that you wish to share with your clients or friends, then you can password protect your formula. This is achieved with the password attribute.

For example:

[password=12345]
(H+L+C)/3;

If you later attempt to view or modify the script then you will be prompted to enter the password. However, you can run the script without entering the password.

Be careful that you do not forget your password.

Peter: Are you saying that I can tell people I have the secret to trading successfully, but prevent them from seeing how it works?

Bullcharts is an excellent program, I'm leaning towards it being the best on the market, but password protecting formulae is surely leaning towards black box systems (yuck!).

We've found some customers are very protective of their systems.

But we won't be releasing any of the built-in scripts password protected.
