Is there a timetable to implement more offline features in Bullcharts?.
I would assume there would be the odd customer who still uses dial-up
access to the internet (like me!).

Further to the last post, do you have a list of faults that will be fixed in later versions?.
I have problems with the following - 1. the Tools/Login feature does not appear to work. I have to go to Tools/Get Latest Data ... to force the program to connect to the server 2.In Security summary, headlines, clicking the next arrow brings up a page saying 'No symbol matched your query'. How do I scroll the news messages?. The same with the next page button at the bottom of the security summary page. 3.When saving templates with ribbons, the code that was displaying at the time of saving comes up on the 'hover text' when the mouse is over the ribbon in other charts. |

Hi Cobra,
We'll be progressively moving some reports to run off line. I'll take a look at these bugs. For #2, the next/prev arrows aren't supposed to appear on the summary report. I've fixed that up now. To see all news headlines, go to Actions/News/Quick News Search |

With #1, you need to click on the Connection tab and press "Connect".
We'll consider how to make this more intuitive. #3 has been fixed
now and will be in the next version.

Another suggestion for improvement (SFI). I'm not sure what you're plans are, but could the portfolio section go to offline?. It could still have a dynamic price feature but it would be handy to be able to use it offline. Also, some portfolio reports for tax time. Specifically, my accountant needs the number and value of share purchases and also sales as seperate reports, and an end of year portfolio valuation ie as at 30 june. I assume most share 'traders' as opposed to investors need this type of reporting also?. |
