Next Sydney meeting is Wed May 25th (tomorrow evening).
This could be the last one for a while unless there is more interest. I find out new stuff that I didn't know about the Bullcharts software each meeting I attend. eg. create sector indicies with unlimited number of stocks eg. look at occasional US and currency markets in Bullcharts without having to find them on the net. eg. colour code the background of your charts for easy recognition of trends. eg, create coloured ribbons to show market/sector risk on your stock charts eg. combine weekly and daily scans into one combo scan |

Next Sydney meeting is tonight, March 16th (emails have been sent out much earlier).
We'll discuss using the scanner (bullish reversal patterns maybe). DMA vs Market maker models. A share trading course. plus anything else related to Bullcharts. If you have any questions on how to do things better. Just ask. |

Hey count me in the Sydney group, I use Bullcharts and get the full data.
I think Bullcharts is good but not as great as it could be and if the user group could help unlock the potential of it I will be happy. But also make recommendation to bullcharts to make new adjustments. please email me of next meeting. h.o.k@optusnet.com.au Cheers Brent |

Sorry I didn't attend the first one, but will attend the Jan meeting.
I would like to know if there is anything planned. Is there someone willing to present how they use Bullcharts in their trading business? I am. Favourites scans? I am. I would like to see ideas (charts, scans) that others are using rather than just chat. If I pick up one new idea then it will be worth my time. ps: I'll contact Alex in case he doesn't see this before the meeting. |

Hi Alex,
I believe that the way that BullCharts manages Watch Lists is much better than MetaStock - a hierarchical structure of watch list folders (if you want to have that many), and it is so easy to create a new watch list, and add a stock to it - and then to quickly view the price chart for each stock as you mentioned above (using the flip through feature). I understand also that BullCharts is much faster to view a price chart (EOD, or weekly) because all the data is stored locally on our own hard drive, so when we select a stock to view, it is up in a flash (but some people notive that performance can drop off if the IntelliCharts feature has been running a long time without some basic manual maintenance). The other thing that ex-MetaStock users keep telling me is that in BullCharts it is so easy to create or update a Scan without having to do any script programming - just use the drop down boxes. I could go on, but not now, maybe later... Cheers |
