Hello all,

This is probably a very simple question, but I cannot seem to work it out. When adding an indicator to a chart of a specific security (eg  moving average), how do you change securities without the indicator also being added to the new security.

Thanks,
Bullcharts newbie-
Ephraim

Jake,

Basically BC works by applying any indicators that you have applied for one security to any other securities that you subsequently select. If you dont want to see an indicator on subsequent securities there are several ways to approach this problem.
1) delete the indicator on the chart by selecting it and hit the delete key.
2) Go to layer manager and uncheck the box for the indicator.
3) Use the Templates shown at the bottom of the screen to select one of you favorite templates which cleans your chart by deleting all indicators and selecting only those specified in your template.

Regrds,
Blackdog
