Thanks Peter, gave that a go. Yep, that is essentially what I was looking for. Will tweak the formulae to personalise it a little more. Thanks for the help.

If I understand you right (which I may not), then this should do the trick.
  1. Create a new scan and a new criteria
  2. Set the top drop down to "Uses BullScript"
  3. Copy and paste this BullScript in: cross(formula("Directional Movement ADX", 14), formula("Directional Movement +DI", 14)) and hist(formula("Directional Movement ADX", 14),1)<15
  4. Set the condition to "Is true"  then "any bar in the last 250 bars"
  5. Set the scan date to Dec 31
The trick is that all of the comparison is performed in a single criteria - so the "any bar.. " setting will work as expected.

Thanks Pete;

It might be too difficult to perform. What I basically wanted to do is, for example, say I used a Crossover of the ADX above the DI- from below 15, then I would like to conduct a scan that would tell me what stocks between Jan 01 and Dec 31 had this occur to them.

It was only to save me do this scan each day manually and righting down the results.

Hmm. Not really at the moment. I'll think about how we can add this into a future version.

You can do it for a single criteria by setting the "any bar in the last n bars" option (in the comparison area).  However, if you do it for several criterias then you can't make sure they all end up on the same bar.

You could possibly achieve it with some carefully crafted BullScript. If you want to post (or email us) exactly what you're trying to do I'll see if we can make a script for it.

Peter or staff;

Is it possible (and if not can you make it in an upgrade), to have Bullscan perform a particular scan and return results for all stock that fit the criteria of your scan between a period, rather than just one day. Ie. I want to find out what stocks fit my criteria at any time between Jan 01 2004 and Dec 31 2004.

Thanks.
