Update for Macquarie ""Savings" accounts. Current interest rate is 3.45%, but for NEW accounts is 4.25% for the first four months, then reverts to 3.45%

Some of the Nov 2022 suggestions for idle cash opportunities included:
* Macquarie Bank. Currently 4.25% but this might be a bonus rate requiring regular deposits to the account.
* Ubank - Owned by Westpac? Currently 3.85% but with conditions.
* NAB trade for NAB account traders - Currently offering 3%.

In the November 2022 Melbourne user group meeting, and in the webinar, we had a discussion about where to park idle cash while waiting for market opportunities. Some possibilities were raised by the user group members present. More suggestions can be added to this forum; but NOTE that there is no advice here, and any of the information that is posted might quickly go out of date.
The information herein cannot be replied upon!!
